About Us

We are a Pentecostal Christian church that welcomes people to come and hear how God can help us in our lives. We know that Jesus has risen from the dead and He has power to heal, forgive and change our lives. 

Our services are in English with translation into Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese is also available through headphones as needed.

We are part of an international fellowship of churches, that began out of a dynamic outpouring of God’s Spirit in the 1970s, when many young people were radically saved and found salvation and new life in Jesus. Pastor Wayman Mitchell, in Prescott, Arizona, USA, began to disciple these young people, and many felt the call of God to become preachers and to go into all the world and preach the gospel. From those humble beginnings, through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting, our fellowship has grown to over 2700 churches in more than 100 nations of the world.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
  2. The One True God is eternally self-existent and the creator of all things. He is a triune God I.e. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  3. Mankind has fallen into the depravity of sin.
  4. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God manifest in the flesh, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary. He is the only Saviour of Man.
  5. Salvation comes through the grace of God, by faith, not of works. All people are required to repent and put their faith in Jesus, who died as a substitute for our sins. Man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
  6. Water baptism is immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, according to Scripture.
  7. The Baptism with the Holy Spirit is promised to all those who are born-again. The initial evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues.
  8. The gifts of the Holy Spirit still operate in the Church today.
  9. The Church is the Body of Christ made up of people called out to gather in His name. The church is commissioned to go into all the world to evangelise, make disciples and plant new churches. 
  10. The Lord’s Supper is to remember the death of Jesus and the New Covenant achieved through His shed blood.
  11. Jesus rose from the dead and ascended bodily into heaven. He will return and the dead in Christ will be raised, and true believers still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet Jesus in the air and be with Him.
  12. Jesus will return to Earth and rule and reign with His saints for 1000 years. 
  13. There will be a final judgment of the wicked dead with eternal punishment. 
  14. The Local Church is self-supporting, self-propagating and self-governing. 
  15. Human life is sacred, created by God in His image. All human life is valuable, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically and mentally challenged.
  16. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union. Sexual intimacy is to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other.
